Terms of Service

These terms apply to anyone who books a treatment with Silkentouch Aesthetics Studio Inc. or uses this website (https://silkentouchaesthetics.com). By booking with us or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't book — and reach out to us first so we can address your concern directly.

1. About us

Silkentouch Aesthetics Studio Inc. operates a one-on-one aesthetic studio at 695 Coronation Blvd, Unit 6, Cambridge, ON N1R 7J9. All treatments are personally delivered by Maimoona, a certified master esthetician with 5 years of clinical experience.

2. Booking and confirmation

You can book online via our calendar (book.silkentouchaesthetics.com), by WhatsApp, or by phone. Your appointment is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email or message from us. Until then, the time slot is not held.

A valid credit card may be required to secure certain bookings. We will tell you in advance if that applies to your treatment.

3. Cancellation and rescheduling

Life happens. Our policy:

• More than 24 hours before: reschedule freely, no fee
• Within 24 hours: we ask for a courtesy text or message so we can offer the slot to another client
• No-show without notice: we may charge a $50 fee on a second occurrence

We're a one-person studio — late cancellations leave a gap in the day we can't fill. We appreciate your understanding.

4. Late arrivals

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your treatment or reschedule it. The full session price will still apply if the treatment proceeds in a shortened form.

5. Pricing and payments

Prices are listed on each service page and the official services menu PDF. All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST. Prices may change with reasonable notice; bookings already confirmed are honoured at the price quoted at booking.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, plus e-transfer. Payment is due at the end of each appointment unless a package was prepaid.

6. Packages and prepaid sessions

Package sessions must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase unless we agree otherwise in writing. Unused sessions after that period expire. Packages are non-refundable in cash but can be partially credited toward other treatments if you can no longer use them — please contact us.

7. Welcome offer and promotional terms

The first-time client welcome offer (described at /welcome/) is valid for new clients only, one per person. Cannot be combined with other promotions. Valid for 60 days from the date of email receipt. Specific conditions for each option are listed on the welcome offer page.

Seasonal promotions (when active) include their own terms displayed alongside the offer. Common conditions: new clients only, one per person, non-transferable, non-refundable in cash.

8. Treatment expectations

Aesthetic treatments produce results that vary by individual. We will discuss realistic expectations with you before any treatment. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. We will refuse to perform a treatment if we believe it is unsafe for you, contraindicated by a medical condition, or unlikely to deliver value.

9. Health, safety and consent

You must disclose all relevant medical history, medications, allergies and recent treatments before your session. You will be asked to complete a consent and intake form before your first treatment. Withholding relevant information may result in refusal of treatment and is at your own risk.

Some treatments require patch testing (peels, laser on first sessions). We may require additional sessions or waiting periods between treatments for safety. We follow all applicable Ontario health and safety standards.

10. Refunds

Completed services are non-refundable. If you are unhappy with a result, contact us within 14 days — we will assess in person and may offer a complimentary follow-up, partial credit, or other resolution at our discretion.

11. Photos and use of likeness

We may take before-and-after photos of treatment areas for clinical record purposes. These remain confidential and are not used in any marketing without your separate, written consent. You can withdraw consent at any time and we will remove your images from our materials within 30 days.

12. Website use

Content on this website (text, images, design) is owned by Silkentouch Aesthetics Studio Inc. and protected by copyright. You may not copy or reuse it without permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

We try to keep information on this site accurate but make no warranty that it is error-free. Prices, schedules and details are subject to change. Bookings are governed by what's confirmed in writing at the time of booking, not by website snapshots.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any treatment is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for gross negligence or for any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection legislation.

14. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario. We will always try to resolve a dispute directly with you before any legal step is considered.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Material changes will be posted at the top of this page and emailed to active clients. Continued use of the website or booking with us after changes means you accept the updated terms.
