I built Silkentouch because skincare deserves time, listening, and clinical honesty — not assembly-line treatments.
For 5 years I've worked one-on-one with clients across Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo — many of whom had been let down by chain clinics or rushed through expensive packages they didn't actually need.
Every consultation at Silkentouch starts with a careful skin assessment. If a treatment isn't right for you, I'll tell you. If your concern can be solved with a simpler protocol, I'll recommend that first. That's the only way I know how to do this work.

Single sessions start at CA$45 for small areas (lip, chin, underarms) and go up to CA$220 for full body. Our 6-session packages save up to 20%. Exact pricing depends on the treatment area — confirmed during your free 15-minute consultation.
Most clients need 6–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for permanent reduction. Hormonal areas (face, bikini) sometimes need light maintenance once or twice a year. Maimoona will map a session schedule to your hair growth cycle during your consult.
We apply a topical numbing cream 30 minutes before treatment, so most clients describe TWIST and Procell microneedling as a mild prickling sensation — not painful. Expect light redness for 24 hours and full social downtime under 48 hours.
OxyGeneo exfoliates, oxygenates and infuses active serums in one session using natural CO₂ bubbles. The result is a visible glow and hydration that lasts 5–7 days, with zero downtime. It's our most-booked pre-event treatment.

As hair reduces over your sessions, the repetitive irritation stops and skin in the underarm area typically brightens. Results vary by skin tone and the underlying cause of darkening. TWIST is an advanced microneedling device that uses a spiral-tip cartridge to create precise micro-channels in the skin — unlike traditional flat-needle pens that stamp in a single direction. The rotational motion increases collagen induction with less trauma to surrounding tissue, meaning faster healing and more even results. It's our go-to treatment for acne scars, fine lines, and uneven texture.
Yes — the diode laser system at Silkentouch is suitable for a wide range of skin tones. The wavelength and energy settings are adjusted individually during your consultation to treat safely and effectively. Many of our clients come from South Asian, Middle Eastern, and African backgrounds and have seen excellent results.
Session time depends on the area: underarms take about 10 minutes, bikini or Brazilian around 20–30 minutes, and full legs 45–60 minutes. Sessions are spaced 4–6 weeks apart to match your hair growth cycle. Most clients fit sessions into a lunch break.
Microneedling (TWIST) uses a pen with a needle cartridge that creates micro-punctures to trigger collagen. Microchanneling (Procell) uses a stamping motion with a flat-tip cartridge, creating uniform parallel channels with less lateral tearing — allowing growth factor serums to penetrate more precisely with faster healing. We offer both because they serve different skin goals: TWIST for texture and scars, Procell for laxity, stretch marks, and advanced rejuvenation.
